About Our Business
McLean Consulting, Writing, and Research Services was founded and is owned by Donna
McLean. McLean, from the time she was in grade school, has enjoyed finding answers to
puzzling questions and using her knowledge to help others. She grew up on a ranch and
participated in the work involved in all aspects of that ranch. She enjoys the outdoors and has
a deep respect for nature and wildlife, as well as an understanding of a wise use of resources.
Mclean graduated from college with majors in Business and Spanish and is certified to teach
grades 5 - 12 in those subjects. She has presented workshops on various topics to
audiences of all ages. She has used her teaching skills both inside and outside the
classroom, sharing her love of learning and using the knowledge she gains to help others.
As co-owner, editor, and publisher of GHOST TOWN QUARTERLY, McLean furthered her
research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills. As Career Transition Coordinator for Job
Corps students, she performed many research activities as she networked with potential
employers and helped students develop job leads, locate housing, analyze their own abilities
to live independently, and reach their goals.
Donna McLean has had a lifelong interest in information related to agriculture, business,
academics, and the health care field. Consistent with these broad based interests, she has
performed a variety of research projects in these fields, both formal and informal.
A few projects she has worked on in the last year are:
